SKY Painting Probes

SKY Painting Probes, for use with ASI's HISKY, are combinatorially labeled FISH painting probes and are available for human, mouse and rat chromosomes.

The SKY Paint hybridization procedure follows standard FISH protocols with an emphasis on sample preparation.

Linked to Classical Cytogenetics

You can hybridize SKY Paint to previously G-banded slides so the link between SKY and classical cytogenetic methods is not lost. Also, DAPI is the sixth color in SKY Paint kits, and HiSKY includes superb band enhancement algorithms that provide G-Band-like quality images for comparison with SKY images.

Versatile

Human SKY Paint has been successfully hybridized to many sample types including:
  • Lymphocyte preparations
  • Amniotic fluids

  • Solid tumors
  • Leukemias and lymphomas
  • Cancer cell lines
