UroVysion manual analysis requires a high degree of effort and experience. This is mainly due to the fact that 4 probes are used simultaneously with signal overlap and there is a need to review in 3D for correct analysis. ASI has developed a dedicated solution to address these hurdles and dramatically improve quality and throughput, with a clear advantage in cost saving and manpower efficiency over manual counting.

SpotScan is Applied Spectral Imaging’s fully automated Spot Counting system, running under the ScanView scanning platform. SpotScan incorporates novel concepts in user interface and microscope control that provide a practical cost saving solution for clinical and research laboratories.
